Bankruptcy & Secured Property

What is the name of your state? California

My husband and I have recently seen a tremendous drop in our income due to the economy, both of us found ourselves out of work and now earning much less. We have two homes. One is a mobile home that we have been trying to sell for over a year. The other is a single family residence. If the mobile home doesn't sell quickly we will have to let it go. Can bankruptcy help in this situation? In addition we just started a small business, which is just getting off the ground. A corporation was formed with our partners, will our letting this property go effect our business?

Any help is welcome. We really are at our wits end.
