BK and Home BusinessI live in Florida. My wife and I run a small cleaning service franchise from our home. We do all the cleaning ourselves so we don't have any employees. This is my only source of income and my wife works fulltime for a realtor. Is our business exempt in a BK 7? If not, and the creditors can take it from us will the Franchisor step in and get involved with the creditors and myself. Afte rall, they'd want to get their monthly royalty as per our contract. Will this issue turn the creditors off and leave my business alone, if in fact it is not exempt in Chapt 7. Thank you |
