BK7 AmendmentWhat is the name of your state? CA I have filed for ch7 bk. I have listed my creditors on schedule F, but have to make an amendment to add some more creditors and collection agencies, and I did not include the account numbers. I would like to know how to point out the changes on the schedule to show that I added the account numbers or if it is necessary to do so. I also read that you should “pad” the amounts owed. Since I am making the amendment, I would like to pad the numbers. Do I actually highlight the changes with a marker or just make the changes? Is there any website that talks about making amendments? Thanks. |

| Whether or not you have to completely re-do the forms or can only note the changes depends on your local bankruptcy rules. You'll need to look those up. You will have to send copies of every single schedule you change to every creditor/CA that is affected by your amendment and you will have to file a proof of service for each and every one of them. If the balances you included on the forms are what was on your credit reports when you originally filed, then I wouldn't add a whole lot to them as the interest is added monthly.
