buying a house in chapter 13

What is the name of your state?

NJ

I am in Chapter 13 bankruptcy, 3 years making payments in time. Bankruptcy was filed in GA. I seek to purchase a house. Is there anything specific I need to do? Must I obtain permission to purchase? Can I pay it off before purchase or at closing? I owe only about $6000.

You need to have anything you do to incur new debt or anything that affects the BK estate cleared thru your Trustee.
