    Can I file bankruptcy?

    What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? I live in NM. I filed chapter 7 in 2002. Can I file a 13 now or another 7?

    You may file a 13 4 years after you recevied a discharge from a Chapter 7. It's 8 years between Chapter 7 filings.
