Can I go bankrupt again?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Nevada, I have went bankruptcy 7 in 2004. It was dismissed. But since then I am in the process of getting divorced with much finacial problems, being separated for over two in half years. can I go bankrupt now? I have a small child and lost my job with just child support from another marrage coming in. They have said I have to wait eight years from my last one, is this true ,or is there anything else for me out there to clear my credit?

Dismissed or, discharged? A big difference. If discharged, it's 8 years between Chapter 7 filings.

Yes, I ment discharged, well if I have to wait another three an a half years? I recently pulled my credit report almost everyone on there,{ the negatives}. They are to drop off it says in 2015? Is this so they only stay on the credit report for seven years?.. I think I will just wait it out, or start makeing small payments when I have a steady job.

The current negatives may be due to "drop" in 2015 but if any of those creditors obtain a judgment against you they can garnish your wages, levy your bank account/s, attach a lien to property...and they have an awful long time to collect those judgments.

Your creditworthiness isn't your biggest problem here - I'd be far more worried about someone suing me and knowing that I cannot get rid of that judgment for at least another 3 or so years. I'd be getting three jobs to try and avoid that happening at all
