car donation

What is the name of your state? california

My husband and i are gonna file bankruptcy and i had a car donated to me by charity cars,inc. All i had to pay for the car was the tags and registeration. that cars worth $6770. My husband has a old car that has a market value of $1500. this car is in both our names. Can they take my car from me?
