What is the name of your state? Indiana

Hi all!

Yesterday I received a certified letter from the doctors office demading payment for a 50.00 medical bill. I filed BK on Aug29th....what should I do about this? Should I contact my lawyer, or contact them myself and tell them to contact my lawyer. I am not sure which way to go on this. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

You could do either, but I'd just call the Dr's office and tell them you've filed and give them your case number. If they were included, they should have received the notice from the BK court by now.

if they weren't included in your petition, just have your petition amended.
