Ch 7 and boyfriend

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? GA

I am recently divorced and left the marriage with 20k in debts.
My credit was ruined from divorce so I couldnt even get a checking account.
So he added me onto his account.
I lost my job and have been living on unemployment for 4 months.
Long story short: Moved in with boyfriend (I met after divorce).
He has helped me with living expenses and we pay my bills with his money when we can. Now I have a car loan they are trying to reposses. My BF says maybe I should file Bankruptcy since my credit is ruined and a repossesion on it will just get worse, so I need a fresh start.
I called an attorney and they tell me my BF needs to be included in my filing.
Why?
The home we rent is in both our names but the bills are in his name.
I dont want to get him anymore involved then he is.
They say I need to include his wages in my filing. Yet I seem to read that spouses can file without the other half getting involved.

I need help making a desicon they take my car and I can't get work.

You will need to include his income so that the trustee will know how much money (or lack of money) you will have at the end of the month after all your living expenses post bankruptcy. if you have more than $100 left at the end of the month post bankruptcy after all the living expenses you may be forced into a chapter 13. If you would like to check your living expenses there is a calculator here:

And, if you can't get current on your car, bk won't keep it from being repo'ed

I live in Ohio and my atorney told me that my boyfriend's income will not come into question. I did not submit anything about it in my Chaper 7 petition. We own a home together (since the cost was cheaper than renting alone) but we are not married or engaged so my lawyer said it was a nonissue. He has never paid a single bill for me and has never even lent me money...is this why I didn't have to include it but the other individual who is asking the question did...since he is paying some of her bills? On my petition I put only the portion of the utilities and mortgage that I pay so I was truthful about everything.
