| You need to see if the bankruptcy filer listed you in their case. If they did, and they used a valid address for you, then you have no recourse. However, if they didn't list you, or they didn't attempt to provide a good address for you, then you can try to go after them for the debt. However, even if you do so, they can still go back to the bankruptcy court and have the case ammended to include your debt.
In other words, unless you think there was outright fraud involved with the debt, you're not going to get anywhere by going after it at this point. |
