ok, my husband is about done with his chap 13 payments. we get a letter in the mail that our house payment is in arrears of $2000, Which i thought was not true. the finance company is claiming the trustee has stopped making payments to cure arrearage. they claim we were behind when he filed and they brought the account current according to the bannkruptcy court, now since the trustee has stopped paying it, we get this bill. our lawyer wont return our calls. this also happened 2 years ago, i thought everything was under control then, but i guess not. so is this how its going to be, they can keep coming up every 2 years wanting more money? and where is the rest of the money going we keep sending him?

Have you tried calling the Trustee's office and asking about this ? You should be able to get an accounting of where your money is going and why he stopped paying on the arrearage.

As for your lawyer, if he won't return phone calls, its time to plop yourself in his office !
