My father and i have been sued and judgment has been passed. we are to pay X amount to the plaintiff. my parents have recently filed a chapter 13 bankruptcy case, where this suit is listed. if the plaintiff settled for whatever amount is being paid to them by my parents chapter 13, does that close or satisfy the case/judgment for both my father and myself?

Your parents are off the hook due to the bk filing. Unless, the debt is being repaid at 100%, you are still liabile for any balance.
