Question

chapter 7

What is the name of your state?florida
I have read that it is 6 years from the time you filed your last chapter 7 until you can file again..I am pretty sure this is the rule..just would like to reaffirm the law..I filed 08/2000.Was doing pretty good then all hell broke loose..was giving so long to live without a liver transplant and I received that..then had a back surgery that did not work..and now have a brain tumor too..and they want to re open my back and redo the surgery..I am on disability now for quite a few years now..so to make a long story short is the law 6 years for a chapter 7..thanks for all replies..then I will only have to survive for another 11 months..Which really means I could stop paying on all the un secured cards which they all are..in the late spring of 2006.as it takes usually 180 till a charge off of any collections then judgements..So I could still filed in august of next year..really would appreciate all replies..I am pretty sure I read 6 yrs..thanks for any answers..

Sorry, but when bk reform takes full affect on 10/17 the time between filings will be 8 years.
