Chapter 7 and our mortgage

What is the name of your state? Nebraska

A few months ago we suffered house fever. We financed a house within our price range and what we thought was our payments. With our consumer debt and now the mortgage, utilities and so on we are in over our head. I know chapter 7 is a way out, and in some ways a possible breath but I am concerned about our mortgage.
Can the mortgage company evict us and force us to sleep under the interstate bridge, or would we just reaffirm on that loan, because well we do like the house and need a place to live. So my questions are,
1. can they kick us out or force the sell of the house, thereby kicking us out
2. if not, can they jack up our interest rates
3. can they look back those few months, realize they should never have given us the loan and some how void it, again putting us on the streets
We are really scared here,
Thanks..

editing to further complicate things..
Also if we file, can our employer fire us for any reason? Both of our employers are also creditors of ours, would that give them a reason to fire us legally, or would we also have to reaffirm those to keep our jobs???
