Question
I co-signed for a car for my ex-girlfriend. The registration is in her name. If she doesn't (or can't) make the payments, do I have the right to take legal possession of the car? What are my rights?
Please help!

Sorry. If your 'ex' defaults on the payments, the creditor will come after you (the co-signer) and since your name is not on the title, you can't go after the car.

The only thing you can do is to make the payments (to protect your credit), then sue the 'ex' for the moneys you are out.
