confused

What is the name of your state? montana
I took out a payday loan over the internet a few months ago and now due to medical problems i'm unable to pay it. I'm filling for chapter 13 and the company I got the loan through has turned it over to a legal firm for collections I contacted the firm and explained to them what is going on and that I would be willing to make payments they said I can't and that I can't even contact the payday loan company because they won't work with me. can they do that? :confused:

Once you file for CH 13 they can't do ANYTHING to collect. Up until you do file, you're fair game. Once they have a lawyer, you have to deal with the shark.

Why are you filing for Ch 13 ?
