we live in louisiana and filed chapter 13 bankruptcy one month ago. we were able to keep our cars because we caught up on the payments. we are behind on our house mortgages. we have an original mortgage that is past due, but the bank is giving us time to catch up on the payments. They will not give us a particular time to catch up. Do we have a deadline? Also we have a second mortgage on our house with another mortgage co.(Bank One) we have not heard from them since we went to court. We are 4 payments behind with them. Can they foreclose on our home? If so,what happens to our original loan on our home?
also what if we forgot to add one of our creditors to the bankruptcy?
also, we have a rental home. The creditors have sent papers saying theyare going to foreclose on the property. Do you think they might work with me because I now have someone who wants to buy the house?
