Copy of BankruptcyWhat is the name of your state? GA I had a Chapter 13 discharged in 1994 (I believe). I have diligently rebuilt my credit to the point where it's almost perfect, but am now getting credit collection letters related to a debt that was supposed to have been discharged in the Chapter 13. Unfortunately, I can't find my Chapter 13 papers to send as proof of the discharge of the debt. And I don't even remember the name of the law firm that handled it. Is there any way to obtain a copy of a bankruptcy? |

| I believe you can get a copy of your BK papers directly from the court you filed with. |

| Well, yes and not. For a BK that old it would be in the archives in Missouri. Call the BK court where you filed and tell them you want to get a copy of your case file. They'll send you a form to fill out, the charges for the papers you want, and you should get the file in 2-3 weeks after they get your check.
