Credit card debt and Bankruptcy

What is the name of your state? FL

If I file for bankruptcy in the state of Florida, am I still responsible for my credit card debt or will that be written off?

Also, which chapter of bankruptcy would I select?

If you are going BK, then, get yourself an Attorney that specializes in BK.

BK=Bankruptcy!

You file the chapter o bk for which you are eligible. In a 7, unsecured debt is discharged and you have no further liability. In a 13, you repay some portion of the unsecured debt over 60 months and the balance is discharged.
