Credit Cards

What is the name of your state? Wisconsin

My husband and I went to go see a lawyer in May and thought about filing bk. I received a new credit card in them mail right after we talked. I used to make several purchases on the credit card in May. I attended on keeping the card and pay on it but then when I was talking to my sister she said I couldn't do that ...I need to claim everything! I called up the lawyer's office and told her paralegal that I had another credit and gave her the balance. Since I had two credits with the same credit company Ifelt I needed to claim both.

1) Will all of my debts now be non dischargable ?
2) or just that card?
3) I know hundard's of people file each day, do these companies object?
Thanks

Have you actually filed? If not, wait at least 60 days from the last cc use. Any cc transactions done within 60 days of filing are suspect and may not be discharged.

CC companies are not shocked about bk filings. They won't really press the issue unless there are some real extenuating circumstances i.e. fraud.
