Credit report question

What is the name of your state? OH

If you apply for several loans and these people run credit reports on you, Does it lower your overall credit score?

Was told this by Centex Equity saying "you need to take our loan, don't go anywhere else or your rating will be below a 500"

Was this the truth or a lie?

Sounds like a sales tactic to me !

However, when you apply for a loan, they do a HARD inquiry to your credit report and multiple 'hards' WILL lower your score - how much is hard to say there are so many factors in that BS FICO system.
