Creditor sued meWhat is the name of your state? CA state. My husband lost a job few months ago. We try to save some money for hire a BK lawyer to file our Ch.7 but one of his creditor already has a judgment against him. He received the superior court of CA county Alameda-form 982(a)(6) last week. We would like to know what's the follow up on that? Should we hire a lawyer ASAP or we still have some time. Thank you for helping! |

| If a judgment has already been granted, then his wages are subject to garnishment and his bank account is subject to levy without warning. Talk to several bankruptcy attorneys. Some will take your case and let you made payments on their fee. |
