Defaulted Bankruptcy?

What is the name of your state? Michigan

If I default on a bankruptcy when will it drop off my credit report or will it? It will be 7 years old in June. I have average credit and am wanting to get financed for a car loan and this is holding me back.

Default as in I was not able to make payments on the bankruptcy.

The corredt term is dismissed bk. A dismissed Chapter 13 will stay on your reports for 10 years fom filing date.
