| Yes. Granting the Discharge order gets you permanently free of your debt. Your case isn't actually CLOSED until the Trustee files his/her final report and actually closes your case. Depending on your case, there can be quite a time lapse between discharge and closing. Most 'normal' cases are closed within a week or two after discharge. A lot depends on the Trustee's case load.
