dismissal optionWhat is the name of your state? IN If one decides to not continue with CH 13, is dismissal of case automatic if payments to trustee are stopped? Circumstances have improved to the point I would rather deal with creditors than go thru 3-5 years of trustee oversight. |

| Yes, if you quit making your payments your chase WILL be dismissed. Or, you could just voluntarily dismiss by filing the proper papers.

| If you want to dismiss the 13, don't file the motion to dismiss. Just stop paying. That way, if circumstances turn for the worst, you can reinstate the case by catching up payments and filing a motion to reinstate. |
