do i notify the creditors??

What is the name of your state? CO

Sorry to list another question regarding Ziinet. I am filing pro se and i want to know is it my responsiblity to notify all 40+ creditors by mail of the filing or do they get notified through the courts? I understand to tell the ones that keep calling to stop after i actually file and to give them the bankruptcy number, but what about the others?

Also, i am reaffirming my auto, do i have to contract Ford Credit or will they contact me to reaffirm?

do i count my student loans as monthly installment obligations on the expense sheet since i cant discharge this debt and will the trustee question this as i have monthly payments to student loans of $475?

Thanks for you help!!

When you file your petition, the court staff will send out the notices of the filing and any updates on your case. You do not have to do this yourself. That's what part of your filing fee goes for.

Yes, you can contact Ford and ask them to send you a reaffirmation agreement.

Yes, you would list your student loan payments on the budget portion of your petition.

Hope this helps!

Everything Dorene has said is correct.
The Mailing Matrix is used by bankruptcy courts to contact each creditor. You prepare a list of your creditors and the court notifies them. It is not your job to do that.

btw, I don't particularly like Ziinet as I purchased a BK book and it shows me much more. After downloading the schedules from the Fed BK court website, I used adobe acrobat to input my information and print the completed schedules out. The software costs more than Ziinet but with the book I think it's much more thorough. If you need help, you may want to consult a good book like Nolo's "How to File for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy".

Good luck.
