Do they take a car away...

What is the name of your state? fl
if you file chapter 13?? We have 2 vehicles. I stay home, but need it because I am very sick and need to go to the drs alot or hospital, The ambulances around here can take forever. There is not alot of equity in either car. Can we keep both vehicles? We can make payments. Also, do you have to include them in the bankruptcy? I don't want to lose one of our cars, because I am afraid if they do that then i'll have to get a clunker which would be a piece of junk. Thanks for any info...

The main point of doing a Chapter 13 is the ability to keep your property. I wouldn't think they'd make you give up one car unless it was worth quite a bit. Since you need the car for medical reasons, more or less, it might help to state that.

No question at all. You keep making the payments and reaffirm the debt, you keep both cars.
