Can or will my employer be notified when I file a chapter 7 or 13 bankruptcy? I have a position of managing many retail stores and feel it may adversely affect any future promotions because of my inability to manage my personal finances. My company, while they will never admit it,frown on employees who hold a position of managing company finances fail at home financially.I also hold a company credit card with my employer as primary, however my name is also on the card and the account can be referenced using my ss#.So the next question is; I have an unsecured loan at the same bank as my company credit card,so if I list this bank on my bankruptcy, will the company credit card pop up,which is one method I feel would filter back to my employer.Lastly,my wife and I are about 46k in unsecured debt along with a home in which I have never been late with a payment but no payments made to unsecured in about 4 months due to my wifes loss of job due to company closing and also being 51/2 months pregnant. We did the Genus credit thing for 5 months in a row before it just became too much to even do that so we had to withdraw.OK,any feedback, guidance, answers, partial answers, bashing or any advice or opinions anyone could offer would be well accepted.
P.S.I am at least going to wait to get my taxes and yearly bonus before I file this year,or is that a no,no?

One more question please, what are the chances or benefits of maybe waitng to see if some of the creditors do a "charge off"?
Sorry for taking up so much......
