equity protectionI live in South Carolina. I filed a chpt 13 and have converted to a chpt 7. I filed for the 13 ten months ago. Is equity in my house protected by the 13 as it is a newly aquired asset? |

| If you converted to a Ch 7 the Ch 13 means nothing, you would now be held to the exemptions for a Ch 7. If you have more equity than the exemptions allow, you could have a problem.
