The attorney representing my wife and I sat on our paperwork to file a Chapter 13. During that time my vehicle was repossessed. My car's blue book value was ~$11,000. My wife's car was valued at $2,900. Does this affect our Chapter 13 as the value of the Bankruptcy Estate has now been devalued by a factor of 4? Our attorney said there was nothing that can be done about the car. What recourse do we have?
