My boyfriends ex is solely responsible for any unpaid medical bills for their two minor children, she has run up over $5,000. worth of unpaid medical bills and failed to use her insurance properly to get these paid now she is filing bankruptcy on them and the creditors are coming after him for them. What can we do. The thing is that the insurance company would pay these if she would just file the correct insurance papers but she is such a malicious person she won't do it. She wants revenge and is not willing to work with us. We have tried to contact her insurance company but she will not give us the proper information. My boyfriend is secondary insurance so his insurance won't pay till they bill her insurance first. What can we do. He has been to court 4 times over these bills and they are going to start garnishing wages soon. Plus she upped his child support and he has no extra money now. She is smart and always two steps ahead of us. Someone please find us a loophole to stop her from sticking us with all her responsibilites. He had $10.00 co-pay for Dr. office calls but would not use it instead took the kids to the E.R. which his insurance does not pay much of. The bills keep coming. We don't know all the doctors and hospitals since she has never notified us of any illnesses . There has to be a way of stopping her from doing this. Otherwise we will be forced into bankruptcy and we do not want to do this for money that is her responsibility. Like I said if she would just file the correct papers, insurance would pay these but she refuses. Please help.

I don't know if it matters but we live in Ohio so please help us. Anything would be appreciated. Is there any way to file something against her so that she can not discharge these debts. Bankruptcy is not our stronger knowledge. She also filed bankruptcy 7 years ago. Now she is doing it again. The kids are young so we figure she will do it again before they graduate. I was told since this was for the support part of the kids you can't file your responsibilities away on the support of your kids is this true. Can you file bankruptcy on child support. My boyfriend pays child support and owes no arrearages and has kept medical insurance on them. But she will not use her insurance first and so his will not pay. There has to be someone who can help us. She has screwed us so many times. She has filed income tax fraud by claiming her son which she is not allowed to do, which in turn delayed our refund for six months since she filed first and we had to file extra papers to be allowed to claim him. Is there any way to stop all this hatefulness on her part? We tried some prosecutors but they say she has not threatened us so it is not criminal. We just want her to leave us alone. And to pay what she was court ordered to pay. She drives a new car, tanning bed, nice home, new furniture from rent to own. We live in our own small home drive old vehicles and have hand me down furniture. It is ridiculous that we always end up on the short end of the stick. Now the support went up and we are going to have to pay her debts. Where is the law for people like us who try to do the right thing?
