Fees

What is the name of your state? Arizona

I filed chapter 7 BK in 2000. I continued to pay my house payment and second mortgage during the BK. Quite by accident, I discovered that my second mortgage company has charged me with "fees" associated with my bankruptcy. Can they do this? It seems they are passing their costs associated with my bankruptcy on to me, but if I did not file against them and continued to make my payments, I don't see why they would have fees associated with my bankruptcy. Again, I was never sent a statement notifying me of the fees, and was informed of them only when I called regarding something else. The mortgage company is based out of California.
