Filing Chapter 7....need some help.

When filing a Chapter 7 bankruptcy, do you include all creditors including collection agencies collecting for the original creditor?

Does including a loan you co-signed for release you from responsibility to that loan? What happens to the person who needed the co-signer...is their loan in jeopardy or can their credit be hurt?

I am doing this myself so just need some help. All my creditors are medical facilities except for the loan I co-signed for and a student loan.

Yes, list them all. List the original creditor first, then underneath list the collection agency(s) for the same debt.

Does including a loan you co-signed for release you from responsibility to that loan?

Yes.

What happens to the person who needed the co-signer...is their loan in jeopardy or can their credit be hurt?

Then that person is wholly responsible for the payments. Should not put the loan in jeopardy.

The primary on the loan MAY see your bankruptcy on his/her credit reports, but it is fairly easy to dispute and get it removed.
