Filing a motion to stay?????What is the name of your state? FL Have filed my own chapter 7 and am not sure if I am required to file a Motion to Stay in three civil suits in which I am involved (only one is listed on the filing, the other two are old cases in which a judgement was granted against me) If yes, please direct me to the correct form to use. Thank you Jerry |

| You should have sent notice of your filing to the parties suing you. This is sufficient notice, they know the automatic stay goes into place once you file. The old judgments can be vacated after your discharge.
