I reside in Michigan my home was foreclosed sale 12/6/00 protection preiod up6/6/01 I was hurt very badly on the job it required surgery, Am I put out on the street as of june 6 or will I be given an eviction notice, or in this situation could I be granted some addtional time by the court. Thank You

You can file a chapter 13 & this will stop the sale....but you will have to start making house payments again plus make up the payments in the rear...you can have up to 3 - 5 years to make those up. Just get back to work.

I did file a chapter #7 and I tryed to do it myself hind site is 20/20 they filed for a release of the automatic stay and got it, i wished I could go back to work but i will need additional surgrey, and that is why i was hoping that some way I could get at least 60days. But thank you so much for your help it nice to know someone cares!
