TRUSTEE DECLARED NO ASSETS ALREADY MY QUESTION IS A COLLECTION AGENCY FOR A CREDITOR WE FORGOT TO GIVE NOTICE TO HAS CONTACTED US ABOUT A 568.00 DEBT DO WE HAVE SOME KIND OF ACTION LEFT TO US TO ADD IT TO THE MATRIX OR SHOULD WE JUST PAY? WILL IT DELAY OUR DISCHARGE IF WE AMMEND IT? |

| Call your lawyer ASAP. It's best to amend if that's possible and put it behind you. Not sure if it'll delay the discharge. |

| Talk to your lawyer. Out in the West, I'd say that you shouldn't worry since the Ninth Circuit says that even if you don't list a creditor, in a no asset case the debt is discharged. I haven't researched what courts are saying in the First and Second Circuits, though. If the case hasn't been closed, you can amend without difficulty. If the case has been closed, it's a bit more cumbersome. |
