Ga sales and use tac division/chapter 7 HELP!!!

What is the name of your state?GA Hello here is my situation about 4 years ago i owned a pizza restaurant i was the ceo under an llc corporation we collected sales and use tax for the 2 years we were in business. After september 11th 2001 we were hit hard like many other business out there and after the leas ran out i shut it down.the corp owned alot of money but i personally guaranteed alot of the accounts so i was advised to take a personal chapter 7 because if i bankrupted the corp they would just come after me.The bankruptcy was discharged over 2 years ago with all debts wiped out,the ga sales and use tax owed was included in that amount and they were notified by a list of creditors proceeding and did not reply so it was wiped out.Just 2 days ago i get a letter from the ga sales and use tax compliance division in ga they say they have no record of any taxes filed for sep 2001 to nov 2003 and that if i do not show up for a hearing or respond by 8:30 a.m in the morning aug 31st in rome ga which is over 2 hours away the state comissioner will issue a fi fa on the public record.i called and explained to the lady that my business closed down in 02 and that i sent letters stating that and that they kept sending monthly tax use forms and there was no number provided to call them.she said fax me what i have to her office. My question is can they put a fi fa on my public record when the amount was wiped out in federal court by a judge and they were given due notice, the lady said the reason i am contacted 2 years later is because they are thousands of cases behind or something.I was under the impression that the corp was collecting the taxes if the corp no longer exists with no assetts and i have declare personal bankruptcy then they have no recourse right? They have the document listed as my name and my dba name but not my corp name on the paper they mailed me any help would be greatly appreciated.I have no assetts and was just beginning to rebuild my life and credit when this stuff appeared it seems the government is out to get honest hard working people that fall on bad times.also the ga sales tax is 4 percent so is state only going after that or are they going to go after the local option tax and county tax which would make it 7 percent sales tax?thanks joel
