| http://www.bankruptcyinformation.com/FAQ-14.htm This might help. I don't know about the reliability of the site, but, in my experience, I had no credit history when I went for my utilities when I started out straight outta high school and they just required a deposit. Most of the time the deposit will be held for a year then applied to your bill if you pay on time and keep a good history with the company....=) Hope this helps...

| Most utilities will simply require a deposit and it could be higher because of the bankruptcy. You generally DO get it back either after a year of perfect payments or when you move and use another utility.
