Help

What is the name of your state? Ohio.
I filed my bk almost 3 years ago. I am now trying to buy a house and my credit bureau shows items that are not on my bk schedule. I was told to go back to the attorney that filed the bk and he can ammend it and include those items in it. When I first went to the attorney I asked him if we need to pull a credit bureau to make sure we dont miss anything. He said no! Now I have to go back to him to get him to ammend this bk and he is charging me $250. I think I am getting taken advanted of.
He also told me that it doesnt matter if it is on the schedule or not, I am still discharged of those items. Help me.

Unfortunately that's not entirely true. If you missed creditors/debts that were owing when you filed, then they were not discharged.. they were not notified of your bankruptcy or of your discharge, as far as they're concerned you still owe the debt. Your lawyer flubbed it, you should have pulled those credit reports to keep this very thing from happening.
