I am new to this whole Bk thing. I want to file but I don't know where to start. I have been messing up my credit since I was 18. Now that I am 22 getting married and wanting to buy a house I know how bad I messed everything up. I have a lot of old debit from a year or two ago. I don't have any current cards in my name or loans or anything of that sort. All I have is my car insurance. Everything else is in my fiance's name. I don't want any of this to effect him or my mom who co-signed for a car loan for me about 3 years ago. The car has now been repoed. And I want to just clear everything I can up. If someone from CT knows of a good lawyer or if any of you have any good advice please email me back. Thank you...

as for the car, if you go bankruptcy, your mom will be the one getting hounded by the creditor for the deficiency.
