how do i file alone? What is the name of your state? CO I am filing CH7. At first i was going to use an attorney and i paid him $100 retainer. I did not have the next payment of $450 for him to review the paperwork within 30 days so i asked for an extension. It will cost an additional $100 for the extension. I dont have the $450 much less the extra $100 just to get the ball rolling. How do i file by myself? I understand it costs about $180 with the courts, is this correct? Also, i have student loans that are in deferment due to financial hardship - do i count this debt in my monthly expense, afterall, it is only deferred because of my credit card debt as this point? Can i go watch the proceedings to 341 before my court date so i know what kind of questions may be asked? Thank you for your help.. |

| Check your local library and/or bookstore to see if they have a copy of the book shown at: http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?&isbn=158360085X You should also visit: http://www.123debt.org/state-of-ohio-bankruptcy-law-exd1v1-lra.html
__________________ There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution). Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |

| My lawyer managed to include his fee in the bankruptcy. Most lawyers do that. His fee was $1000. That was for everything. Although I filed for a ch 13 in which I kept my car and the house. It really wasn't that difficult, but I know it involves contacting ALL your creditors and doing the math on what you can afford and what the judge will accept as your bills. |
