How long between bankruptcies

What is the name of your state? Colorado
do you still have to wait 7 years to file bankruptcy from the previous one?

It was never 7 years. It was 6 years between discharged Ch 7s . Under the new law that has been extended to EIGHT years. If you file Ch 13, after a discharged Ch 7, you now must wait FOUR years.
