How long do I need to keep my BK records?

What is the name of your state? California


My bankruptcy was granted in 1991. Do I still need to keep all the papers from it or can I shred them?

Keep them. You never know when some scavenger debt buyer is going to try to collect on a discharged debt -- and what proof would you have to the contrary ??
