How to read credit reportWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Utah I just completed a chapter 7 bankruptcy. I received a notice from the court that I had been discharged, but I had a question on how to read my credit report now. Some of my debts do in fact say chapter 7, but some say $NaN under current amount owed. NaN stands for Not a Number. This is just a trans union report, I plan on getting a 3 beaureau report next. |

| Accounts included in bankruptcy should be noted as such on your reports. Balances should all be reported as ZERO, and there should be no past due amounts, and no negatives reported on a discharged debt AFTER the date of your bankruptcy.
