Question

I do not know what to do??????? HELP PLEASE

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NJ

I have a problem with my American Express credit card.
When I realized I was getting behind on my payments I decided to enroll myself in to a consolidation program.American express didn't accept the amount offered by the consolidation company so they requested a much higher payment in order to aprove the consolidation program, wich I wasn't able to pay so they sent it to a collection agency after a couple months the collection agency stopped the calling and now I am recieving calls from a law office.
I do not know what to do or expect? I do not have the money to pay them and the total amount now is around $ 3100.
Can you guys help me with a good advice.I do not know what is going to happened. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
