I'm in Germany, creditors calling my parents.....

Well here it is: I am living in Germany (not in the forces) and have large outstanding debt that I couldn't begin to repay right now. I can't get a job for at least 3 months. Creditors are calling my parents house but my mom has repeatedly told them I don't live there nor have I lived there for years. Q No.1: Can they harass my parents?

I plan on filing bankruptcy at some undetermined time in the future (whenever I may be back in America again)but I think that one of my debts is secured with a number of household goods that my ex-husband took in the divorce.
Q No.2:What, if anything, can I do about that?

I would be filing bankruptcy in New Mexico. Thanks for your advice.
