Insurance companies and bankruptcyIf I have medical insurance and i file bankruptcy, is it still possible for my insurance company to be billed and just waive my copay? |

| I'm not really sure I follow your question/logic, but I'll give it a shot. You can file bankruptcy on medical bills, so if you have some unpaid medical bills, you can get those discharged. If part of those bills are your co-pays, then you could get those discharged. However, my understanding is that co-pays are given at the same time as the service, so they wouldn't be outstanding bills. |
