Items consigned to Co. that went chapter 7

I consigned a number of items to a large company that sells used equipment. They were in chapter 11. When they went chapter 7 and the court scheduled an auction, I attempted to pick up my equipment. I was told that it was going to be sold at auction. The company had sent me ucc-1 forms which I had signed and returned. This Company is located in California. Where can I find information on consignors rights. Can I get a court order to stop the sale of my items? I have talked to others that are in the same situation.
I hope that someone can help. The auction is next week.
Thanks WALT
