Since we have been told we have to file chapter 13 instead of Chpater 7, I asked the atty if I got a second job, would the Trustee want that money as well? He told me not to get a second job until after our chapter 13 petition is approved. I told him I would now need to work my full time job 40 hours a week plus get a second job working at least 30 hours at nights and on weekends. I asked him if the trustee will ask to see yearly tax returns and paystubs while paying the chapter 13 plan over the next 5 years. The atty said the trustee would probably not check these things. Does anyone know whether or not the Trustee will want me to send copies of our yearly tax returns and paystubs each year while in Chapter 13 for 5 years? Is a second job allowed or will they want this money too?

The only thing the trustee is going to worry about is whether your monthly payment is made on time. Get behind and the trustee may start asking why. Unless fraud is proven, the trustee will have no interest in reopening the case. They are much too busy.
