judgement collection???

Have judgement against me. Bank said they would not pursue judgment. I have purchased a home. A judgement wouldn't automatically put a lien on my home after the judgement award, would it? Is a judgement itself indefinate? Does the bank have so long to collect? I've never been in this position. All they wanted was all the info I could dig up on my ex....that was given, and on my credit the judgment shows: liability: $0.
Will this always show on my credit report, or some day will it 'fall off'. Judgment was in 95.
Thanks so much for any response. Trying to put my mind at ease.
